The Humanics Institute provides scholarships, bursaries, and other forms of financial assistance to underprivileged children, irrespective of their spiritual, religious, cultural, racial, ethnic, or national affiliations.

Almost ever since its inception the Humanics Institute has been involved in providing scholarships to underprivileged children, irrespective of their spiritual, religious, cultural, ethnic affiliations. So far it has been doing this entirely by supporting two charitable organizations in Sri Lanka: Namely Peter Pillai Memorial Scholarship Fund (PPMSF), and the Peter Pillai Social Institute (PPSI). Both these organization were formed as legacy projects in the name of Fr. Peter Pillai, who was a guide and counsellor for Ranjit the founder of the Humanics Institute, and who had his primary and secondary education at St. Joseph’s College Colombo, and his graduate education (B.Sc. Econ (Hons)) degree, at Aquinas University College, that was founded by Fr. Peter Pillai.
