The Tao Te Ching, a compact book containing teachings attributed to Lao Tzu, is widely considered the keystone work of the Taoist tradition, together with the later writings of Zhuangzi.<\/p>\n<p>In Taoism, the Oneness of Reality is summarized as follows: the Tao is \u201cthe One, which is natural, spontaneous, eternal, nameless, and indescribable. It is at once the beginning of all things and the way in which all things pursue their course\u201d. Equal Respect and dignity of all human beings is also an essential value in Taoism, and is reflected in what is referred to in Taoism as the \u201cThree Treasures\u201d: \u201ccompassion\u201d, \u201cfrugality\u201d, and \u201chumility\u201d. It calls upon everyone to \u201cRegard your neighbors\u2019 gain as your own, and your neighbors\u2019 loss as your own loss\u201d.
